The universe this series takes place in has a lot of promise and the technology made me want to continue. Unfortunately I think a lot was left unexplained and a lot of plot lines were solved with the main character's super power that really made some things seem to come too easily and made me lose interest. Especially when every crisis is solved essentially the same way. I would like to see more from this universe but maybe focus on some more interesting and sympathetic characters.

I really enjoyed books 1 & 2 in this series, but #3 (Confluence) was a mess. Too many characters, too many loose ends, too many abandoned plotlines, and uneven pacing. I skimmed through the last 30% of the book. Such a shame since #1 and #2 were such fun.

This pair of authors is *insanely* good at endgames, and the pay-out for this series was really, really well put together.

I really loved this series. The characters are very
well developed and the complex action sequences
are pulse-pounding thrilling. My only nit would
be the clarity of what is happening is not always
the best, leaving the reader to struggle with it.
I found this series to be a great spin on the space
opera, a clever premise with the 'line' technology.
This third book sort of concludes the series but
I hear there may be another in the series in
the future although it may be awhile. Anyway,
highly recommended.

The series finished with a bang. The first of the trilogy was somewhat slow because the politics of many worlds and factions had to be explained. But the second and third books were faster with lots of action and excitement.
All the books have been told from at least two characters' perspectives, usually about the same plot points. This one had two very different settings - Ean on the ships and space station working on the lines and Radko on a covert ops in enemy territory. The writing is great at space battles and spying, and the characters are further developed. Several of the minor characters are also well-developed rather than just added to move the plot along.
I'm really hoping the authors put out another five or six books. I really enjoy their stories and their style.

I tried to not get through all three books in one month but I couldn’t do it. This was a fun ending to the trilogy. I approved of Radko getting her own POV and plot line. I might have liked her more than Lambert in this. It was a good adventure with a lot of political intrigues and ending well. Maybe there will be another one I hope.
