This installment’s mystery was a bit more intricate and involved than the first three, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. As usual, Nancy tactfully uncoils the mystery while narrowly escaping mortal danger. In this episode, she is almost impaled with a spear...and then someone bombs her cottage. It’s a wonder Carson lets her out of the house!

- This book was really fun! It had a lot more dangers in it that the previous books.

- Nancy is the victim of identity theft, but as the story continues Nancy find out she has a doppelganger out there!

- Nancy's life is constantly in danger in this story. There are people out there trying to kill her! She gets a spear thrown at her, she gets run off the road, she gets a rock thrown at her head, and more!

- I really like Nancy's relationship with her father. They are close and can openly talk with each other. I love that they trust each other implicitly.

- The story and mystery are more complicated than the previous ones. I really feel like this book stepped it up a notch.

Esialgses loos on raamatu pealkirjas oleval võõrastemajal väga väikene roll (kuritegu ainult toimub seal), minu loetud versioonis on see aga kogu sündmustiku keskne tegevuspaik.

3/30/20 age 9 - I liked it because Nancy solved the crime at the end when her father came, and the impersonator was on the boat with her and she knew it, and the impersonator was really a criminal wanted in a few states. I also liked it because at the end when the police were going to put handcuffs on Gay, she said "We'll set a better trap for you next time." And the police said, "There won't be a next time," as they put handcuffs on her and that was a good part.
