With a cover like Naked Sushi, it is pretty obvious that there will be sexytimes in store for Jina Bacarr’s spy-based novella. Unfortunately, Naked Sushi fizzled instead of sizzled for me. I am going to chalk that up to the writing style, it just did not gel with me. Further, the characters aren’t all that developed and I don’t know, I just feel disdainful toward the whole novella.

Great story, I wish it'd been longer so we could've had more time with the characters, but it was funny and sweet, and I enjoyed it!

Ugh, I had high hopes for this book. It seemed like a fun story but I just wasn't into it. I didn't care for the character at all and the story just seemed unreasonable to me (the main character has sex with a random stranger in the copy room of her office and then is surprised with she gets caught and gets in trouble).

Pepper O’Malley makes one rash, albeit sexy, mistake and gets fired from her job as a computer programmer. Turns out, her mistake, the hottie she had sex with in the copy room, doesn’t even work for the company. She needs an income and is determined to get her job back, but she soon finds out that hottie and her boss are both hiding secrets. Now, Pepper has some decisions to make. Will they include the copy room hottie?
This story started out promising, but quickly descended into the Dumbass Woman from ClichéLand. The writing is mediocre, the characters shallow and the plot idiotic. The hot scenes are pretty good though. I rolled my eyes way too much for this to be an enjoyable read for me.
