È stato il mio primo libro di Amélie Nothomb e ora sento la necessità di recuperare tutti gli altri. Scrittura perfetta, scorrevole, prosa divertente e leggera che racconta i primi anni di vita della stessa autrice tramite il linguaggio della sé bambina, capace di esprimersi con la consapevolezza e la proprietà di linguaggio di un’adulta nella paradossale scoperta del mondo e delle cose più elementari. Meravigliosa la maestria della scrittrice nell’esporre concetti filosofici, profondi e complessi con una semplicità disarmante, propria appunto dei bambini, e nel rendere familiare il racconto della stagione della vita che nessuno di noi può ricordare. Interessante e molto particolare, da leggere
