After being a bit disappointed by the first book in the series, the series really picked up in the second book.

I loved the introduction of Hazel and Frank as new main characters. Especially in combination with Percy they made for a good mix of POVs.

The first half of the book felt a little bit long but as soon as the quest started it was a very well paced and thrilling read. I'm very excited for the third book!

I enjoyed this book more than the first one. The characters were better developed and more loveable, and I missed the humor that Percy added since Jason was so serious in the first book.

The adventure continues. Percy is back, and I adore reading his adventures. Frank and Hazel are amazing new editions to the cast and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series

I was so happy when I saw Percy's POV back I missed it so much in The Lost Hero. Overall, a very fun time, I really liked Frank and Hazel as protagonist, "welcome to Canada, idiot" is a line that's seared into my skull it was so good, and just a fun time reading these books for the first time as an adult.
