I was gearing myself up to not like this book but I find it to be really entertaining. I think it allows a break from the sadness that was the last book. It was really interesting to delve more into other characters and to see how they try to find happiness post war and death.

I enjoyed the graphic audio version of the book a little more than just reading the book. It made it a little more entertaining. The switch from first person to third person limited each chapter still throws me off and even more so in this production with the narrator.

This book is really just additional info/add on for the character development. There is no real plot. It felt kind of like SJM needed a quick buck, so she wrote another short book to bank off her successful trilogy.

That being said, it was cute, and if you like the characters, it’s a good, quick read!
