This was a great memoir. Learning Britney’s POV on such infamous moments was heart breaking.

I grew up outside of the era where Brittney Spears was in the spotlight and I had little understanding or history going in. But coming out of this book I was inspired, heartbroken, angry and happy all at once. This book gave deep insight into Brittney as a person and the battles she dealt with behind the scenes, I am glad that she is now free and living life at her own discretion. I recommend this read, but know that it is not an easy read.

i grew up with britney spears in her career peak before her conservatorship was signed, i was there when she had her post-partum depression "meltdown", i was there when the conservatorship was enacted, and i was there when she was liberated from the shackles of her parents. i've been wanting to hear her story for years now, and decided to use this as my first audiobook!! although i wish it was fully narrated by her (and understand why she made that decision), it was incredible being able to hear about her life from her point of view having seen it all transpire as an outsider for most of my life. i'm so proud of her and happy that, at last, she is free to be the woman she was meant to be

LONG LIVE BRITNEY <3

Liked the narrator, and this was good to listen to vs read - because it’s quite conversational.
