Only thing that would have made this book better was Sara getting her due dose of Karma. What a hoe!

It's not hard. Just resist it. Unless this book is free or you're willing to overlook a huge flaw in the story throughout the first 1/3 of it, just resist.
This book just tried to hard I think. Talk about throwing it against the wall, taking what sticks and then writing a book about it. Geesh.
There were some great parts though. I wanted to finish it to see if these two shattered individuals could make it work so that's saying something for it, I suppose.

So this book just jumped all into it right from the start. Shit just hit the fan right in the first couple of pages. Yay and the main 2 characters I loved. Here Nolan was all good guy and trying to keep Natalie fro, turning all bad girl because of her broken heart. I was so excited for once for these roles to be reversed. But hem BAM you find out that Nolan is not all what he appears to be and I was just all about to go on a nut kicking spree with his, well nuts. But then suddenly I was all pulling out my Team Nolan shirt and yelling at Natalie to give this man a chance. And of course there I was like all my god just DO IT already, the sexual tension had me fanning myself. And whooo finally and I figured he called her Bunny because well they were like a couple of bunny rabbits, i am not sure I ever had the urge to go to the beach so bad in my life. Sweet jesus!
I wish she would of just beat the dog shit out of her ex when she finally confronted him and yeah she should of just broke off on Sara's ass lol. Why didn't she ever tell Nolan about this? Oh well every bodies different. To me their relationship got kind of confusing at times
Well now that I have been seriously distracted by 500 things going on around me I may be back to finish this eventually, But anyways this was a great book and I hate that I have to wait till the end of the year to read the next one.

This is my first book from Shanora and I must say I am impress!! I love how Shanora made the healing process of Natalie breakup to Bryson believable. I think many people who was once in love with someone (especially their first) and to breakup with them went through what Natalie went through. Even though it was annoying at times it was real. For some reason I was not connected to any of the characters, dont get me wrong Natalie and Nolan are great characters I just was not connected to them. BUT I will read book 2 because I am curious to see what happens next and hopefully I will connect to the characters more.

I feel like I might be being a bit harsh in my rating... I mean, I really enjoyed it .. and it was a solid 3.5 for me but I feel like 4 stars might be misleading.
You see, this book wasn't really what I expected.. I don't really know what it is I expected... for some reason in my mind I thought it would be a bit more PG13, so the sex was a bit of a surprise.. though you saw it coming from a mile away. I was hoping to have a bit more of a 'wallowing-in-self-pity' stage after her break up with Bryson, I was also hoping to have more of a background story for her relationship with Bryson so as to feel her betrayal on a more personal level (never having been in a relationship or cheated on so far its hard to relate). But I don't want to sound too negative, I did enjoyed the romance between her and Nolan, and was dying for Nolan to fight Bryson.
I kinda feel like they're could've been a bit more character development considering the length of the book (not so short that needs to be rushed). And my only major negative is the amount of crying... I felt like reaching into the book and shaking some sense into Natalie, but then again with me never having experienced her situation I couldn't understand.
Overall and enjoyable read, maybe slightly too long for the plot, but worth it.

Why am I struggling to review this? I'm having a hard time deciding what I liked and how to review it. I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed watching Natalie find herself after being broken-hearted. Bryson really did a number on her when she caught him cheating on her. I'm proud of her for not standing there crying about it, while he watched. She "womaned up" and cried to her best friend.
So she moved down to Miami with her bestie and on the first day she meets Nolan. She's trying for a one night stand but he wants more. She's hesitant but gives in. But I feel like her and Nolan's relationship went way too fast and not because of time but because she clearly wasn't over Bryson. I'm all for new love but I ended the book still not knowing if she was over Bryson.

What I Liked:
I loved the plot. I loved the idea of getting away and making a fresh start.
--------------------------------------
What I Didn't Like:
The dialogue felt unnatural to me. Perhaps just because it's not the way I communicate but I had a hard time connecting with the characters.

“Does he just want your thong?” I asked.
She grinned. “I don’t know. Maybe I just want his dong!”
