This made me want to write whole essays about it--loss and discovery, the tension and harmony between science and art, past and present posed like a long conversation and a Venn diagram. I don't tend to seek it out very often, but I love works that explore the poetry in mathematics.

This play was simply so much fun, although it is pretty inaccessible due to the highly technical knowledge required to understand it (I never thought a play would have me googling entrophy, but here I am). Stoppard masterfully intertwines the two plotlines over the course of the drama, culminating in the simply iconic line "fucked by a dahlia!" which still makes me giggle to myself whenever I think about it. It's on my bucket list of plays I want to see in a theatre, and garners bonus marks for the absolutely hilarious references to Lord Byron, who manages to be the best character without having a single line.
