An excellent primer on systems thinking. A completely different perspective of how to view the world, in terms of interconnected components and patterns of behaviour.

Systems are interconnected things that work together towards a common goal. They are self sufficient and often take a life of their own as they do much more than their individual parts.

Great introduction to the idea that there are complex systems evident in the world, and that they are open to our understanding with application of the right tools. Not adequate at all in discussing what those tools might be.
