Lead character's behaviour is frequently cringe-making, though possibly intended to be charmingly naive. I ploughed on to the end, to find a bit of a twist. I won't be following the series.

Great pacing, fun characters, cozy and easy read.

Too slow for me, and too much secondhand embarrassment. Cleo is a nice girl, and curious, and also naive and a bit of a loose cannon. And while it woild be nice to know the answer to the mystery, I don't want to read 45% more of a book at which I wince this hard.
