Read this to my 7-year-old, not realizing it's the third in a series. Didn't really matter, though -- we both really enjoyed the crazy, odd adventure. Chocolate, circuses, Aztec legends, a magic tuning fork, an overflowing antique shop, more chocolate, a mysterious chocolate plantation hidden inside a wild animal park, a blind, knife-throwing chef, a library of flavors, time travel, monkeys who poop cacao beans, a Big Secret, ninjas and even more chocolate. What's not to love?

By far my favorite book in the series. I loved the plot line and the setting.
As always the characters were amazing as well as the writing style. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good laugh, as long as you have read the other books first :)

It took me awhile to get into this one, I think because the action was a little slow to arrive. But I did like getting to know Yo-Yoshi more!
