Grade: B-
I wanted the part where they competed on the game show to be much longer than it was. A lot of build up for it and then it was kind of over before it really started. I also felt like Holden’s break down came on VERY fast, almost too fast, and it got a little hand wavy with the “look I’ve grown as a person”. That being said I enjoyed watching Leo and Holden have fun together, and I liked their parents a lot

Janovsky sure has a way of writing characters that I really find annoying in the beginning and middle, and then write an ending that makes me go "ugh! Fine! I guess he's ok."  Which is ok, his endings are great, and I liked the way in which this ending was a bit different from other romance endings, but sometimes I find it hard enough to get through the first parts that the ending doesn't quite make up for it.
