Simon and quinlan
I have to say first off I love the names in this book. Based off everything I read the title definitely hits the mark. Simon a straight or he thought man lives with his gay bffs . The three of them inseparable until one night they go to a club and Simon in other words hooks up with a professor which is the yummy quinlan. This book had it all and I can definitely feel the love from quinlan . It’s too bad the bffs get jealous of their relationship. My heart broke for Simon in the end but it’s not like Quin didn’t warn his bffs . I can’t wait to read the next book In this series.

♥ Simon and Quinlan ♥
Genre: M/M Romance
Format: E-Book (Kindle Unlimited)
Character Development: 4/5 • Each character felt like they could exist in the real world. I felt like I was inside each of the MCs heads. Crea always does a great job explaining and make you feel what the characters feel.
Plot: 4/5 • The plot was engaging and well written. As Crea says in the beginning of the book, this story line may not be for everyone. However, I think she does a great job navigating the "unusual" (per society standards) relationship between Simon's twin best friends. Watching the Simon find himself and figure out who is was great to see, even though it was heartbreaking at times.
Writing Style: 4.5/5 • The book was well written, with no grammatical or spelling errors. It was not too wordy. Things were explained in a way that didn't feel like overkill. The consent checks frin Quin to Simon was so heart warming. Even during the heavier scenes, he always made sure Simon was okay with what was going on in the moment.
Spice Level: 2/5 • The intimacy evolved with the characters relationship. Even though Simon was ace he still craved the emotion/physical connection of sex.
Overall Rating: 4/5 • I really enjoyed this book. I loved watching the relationships evolve between the MCs and the sub-characters. As always the LGBTQ+ rep in Crea's books are always spot on. Reading Simon realizing he wasn't broken, just ace was so heartwarming. Having Quin understand and never push Simon into anything was awesome to see. I am interested to see how the relationships evolve with the twins in the next 2 books.
Tropes:
• Professor/Student
• Age Gap
• Hurt/Comfort
• Ace Rep
• Sugar Daddy/Baby
• HFN
POV: Dual POV (First Person POV)
KU: Yes
Series: For Your Love # 1
Pages: 368
