be right back I'm going to go curl up in a ball and cry for a while oh my gosh.

I loved (almost) everything about this volume!!! (I say "almost" mainly because of naoka... that girl genuinely makes my blood boil.) one of my biggest complaints about the film was that we didn't really gain insight into the nishimiya family dynamic and past, including how they found out about and responded to shoko's deafness, so finally getting to see that in this volume was equally exciting and devastating.

I know it's only going to get worse from here on out (by "worse" I mean even more emotionally tumultuous) so I have my tissues at the ready.

Another enjoyable addition to the series! I think that this one was nice to see how Shoya interacts with others and that he's slowly opening up to more people.
