Tell me why this book actually got me emotional??
This is a perfect sort of office place romance. While Logan is technically Evelyn's boss, their relationship never feels like it has a gross power imbalance. Some parts did get repetitive at times but it overall was a lot of fun and very

“You don’t get to ask questions, no matter what… Rule two is you answer my questions, and you have to answer them honestly… The last rule is your body belongs to me, so that means your orgasms are mine. You don’t come without my permission.”
This book was definitely spice over substance, but sometimes that is exactly what you need. This series is leaving KU, so I wanted to read it before they left. If you are looking for something light, dirty, and a quick read- I would recommend this! This can be read as a complete stand alone, but it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger for the FMC in book two.

Dnf’d at 55% because it just got repetitive and boring.

Very conflicted feelings. The first 70% I loved and then I got too jealous for the thing that happened after that and then I was rooting for the third act breakup and then after he had to be sad for a few I was ready for her to take him back lol. I took longer to read it than normal bc I knew when I hit the scene I hated I didn’t want to deal with it because I kept getting mad and almost skipped it but I never skip when reading. I put it down for a few days and then finally pushed through to the end

If The Hating Game were spicy as hell…
I really liked the first half of this. Evie and Logan had all the chemistry and worked well in their relationship. I wish we’d had more time with the blindfold club, honestly…that was the most interesting part of this book.
I really didn’t like the second half of this. Boss/employee tropes are always touch and go for me - If I’m going to enjoy them, the boss really can’t be shady at all. Logan made some questionable decisions here though, and I don’t think he was held as accountable as he should have been.
Spice: 4/5

Well this was a book.
But it was also porn.
The reality is the smut is what held this book together. The plot was thin thin.
and that ending? He withheld information that could have given her fully informed consent and were all just fine with it?
