Looks at a very interesting intersection of science and politics -- how the animosity of Germans, even by scientisits, during and after World War 1 had to be overcome in order for relativity (proposed by world citizen Einstein) had to be disseminated as a theory, and then proven (by a team led by an English scientist/pacifist. Fascinating to think about the lack of objectivity when it comes to science (think: the climate catastrophe).
That it was written and read by my grandson's godfather made it even interesting. Still can't say I understand relativity, though.

I received an ARC from NetGalley.

Highly-recommend this interesting account. Anyone interested in the history of this period and Einstein will not be disappointed. This was my first read of this author. He is very talented! This topic (science) could be dull to some people in the hands of the wrong author but definitely not the case here.

Well done. I've already recommended this one.

Could not follow the science, but the message about international scientists and pacifism was very clear.
