The Devil You Know is a fun and easy romance that you can race through, but ultimately lacked as much depth as it set up. There was a lot more potential to learn more about Ben, find out what happened to Gemma’s old colleagues (probably nothing but seeing Meg and nothing happening was anticlimactic), or even just more about the conversations that Ben and Gemma have rather than just the sex.
My interest has been piqued for the next book in the series, but I don’t think I’ll be running to it.

As always, Elisabeth writes powerful, funny, sensitive FMC.
And also golden retriever MMC.
This one is no exception.
I laughed, I was pissed (because MEN) and I had pink glasses on.
Perfect.
