Although fairly predictable, I loved this book. Malory, Dana and Zoey are engaging and real. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Malory had her life perfectly planned and if she wasn't 100% fulfilling the plan, she always just assumed her life would change for the better at the next step. When her plan completely derailed a new plan almost fell into her lap, it was too good to be true. A chance to search for mythical keys lost for thousands of years? Seems a little impossible but Malory has made some amazing new friends to back up her quest. And a new love interest that comes with a silly dog. With her friends and Flynn's help Malory learns not only about an ancient curse but more about who she really hopes to be and where he dreams can go from here. A really great start to a series I can't wait to continue. What I really love about the trilogies from Ms. Roberts are her very strong female friendships. These ladies may not have known each other long but they have built a bond that will help them achieve their goals with a friend always by their side. Great read!

This is one of my favourite NR series - I like the quest aspect, the overarching fantasy plot is intriguing, and I like the whole setup. Malory isn't my fave of the three leads, but I think it was a good one to start with.

A Nora Roberts book, for me, is like sinking into a warm bath after a really hard day. I can always rely on her books for great characters, intriguing plot, wonderful settings and believable chemistry. However, I must admit that this wasn't my favourite of her books. The plot was interesting enough (if a tad implausible - and some of the conversations had by the men as a group were just frankly unrealistic), and while you can always rely on Nora to write strong, confident female protagonists, I found Malory (the main focus of this book, which is the first of a trilogy) just too much of a hard nut at times. So just a couple of small gripes about the book which, otherwise, was a typically gripping NR novel.

Another magical tale from Roberts. I have to say that I'm intrigued as where Nora Roberts found the inspiration or the idea to write these kind of stories. Magic, gods and goddesses, sorcerer, evil being... it's just simply awesome.

Who would've thought that mortals could actually save the lives of gods/goddesses? Roberts tell you why and how through Key of Light. As foolish or crappy as it may seem, I love the book. I love the way the story is told.

Another one of my favorite books written by Roberts.
