I did enjoy reading this book. It is interesting to see the beginning of Catwoman and this seemed to build the characters up. My enjoyment of the majority of this book and the artwork is why I've rated it so high.

My biggest problem is that it doesn't feel like a standalone, which is what I'm assuming this is. It feels like an introduction to a longer story, with rarely any character development of change. I didn't think there was much of a driving plot here either. Perhaps I'm missing something??? Is this going to be a series?? If it is a series I will rate it higher, if not it feels like such an open-ending, which is something I'm not usually a fan of.

I appreciate the resources for domestic violence, self-harm, animal cruelty, etc in the back of the book. However, I wish they were at the start of the book as a trigger warning.
Most of the story felt like it was for shock and awe, not entertainment.

Got an advanced copy and loved every page! I’m a sucker for cat woman stories and this just added to that love. The art was perfect for the style and the story also lined up with all thoughts catwoman. I like this it deal with some major issues kids/teens may have to deal with as well.

Well done - can not wait to recommend this to others!

I have mixed feelings about this. The art was absolutely stunning and there were definitely some good emotional moments in this graphic novel. The new take on the Catwoman origin story was refreshing too. Though there are so many loose ends in the plot and the end was extremely abrupt, that was very disappointing.
