A well-written memoir from the perspective of an individual whose experience is often overlooked. Really brings nuance and depth to both the queer community and the Muslim community worldwide.

growing up in americanized christianity one of my biggest issues with the church was its failure to grow and mature with its people. I love how this book explores religion bending to your life rather than your life to religion. it was a beautiful listen.

What a stunning yet short memoir. I love that Samra uses her voice to reclaim her queer identity in spaces that are often unwelcoming to QTPOC!
