Wow, honestly I am reeling from reading this book. Managed to read it in a day, literally could not put it down for too long.

Aimee aka Wheels, found abandoned as a new born on Dai de los Muertos, taken on and raised by her finder Yolanda, Wheels  an honestly open and free spirited look on life; and it is no surprise that she lives life to the full. Living in an empty building looking after a family of cats, she has such a wide and diverse group of friends. From gang leaders and their grandparents, to shop keepers and Jazz singers the group of people that surround her is as colourful as it is diverse.  Not held back by the constraints of a normal life she works as a parcel courier using her skateboard to get around. Aimee is a true heroine, showing us how strong a female can be.

Sheikh Qadir, crown prince and business man cannot be further from the life Aimee lives. He is transfixed by the small in stature but larger than life girl that attempts to and does save his life when he is targeted by terrorists. The one his Chosen, his feisty saviour. Their relationship is destined to be left incomplete when Aimee is taken into witness protection as her life is threatened after she sees a dirty cop kill his partner whilst trying to get hold of photos of mercenaries and their crimes in Qadirs home country.

After years later due to witness protection, when Qadir finds Aimee is still alive, I found myself cheering for the couple as they try to find their way back together.

The story is fast paced and hooks you straightaway, the characters are constantly growing and evolving, showing human strength and emotion. The world that is built by the author is bright and intriguing. Definitely a book worth reading, I hope the rest of the series is as engaging.

Something About Aimee (Girls from the Street Book 1) by S.E. Smith. I loved this book and can't wait to read the next in the series. This is the story of Aimee aka Wheels who is a courier on a skateboard aka her nickname and works very hard. She has to fight for everything she has but she is very educated. She can speak several different languages but she's also street smart. Through several weird chain of events she meets Quadir who is a Shiek and falls for Aimee the first minute he sees her. He is determined to make her his wife but Aimee is not having it. Quadir is used to getting what he wants and if he can't get it he can usually buy it but Aimee is different. When she ends up accidentally saving his life he is forever indebted to her. When Aimee saves Quadir she doesn't expect to become a target herself but that is exactly what happens. Is Aimee smart enough to out run someone wanting to assassinate her? Will Quadir finally get Aimee to love him? Read this fast paced Romantic Suspense to find out!

Just wow! This book was such an amazing read, and really was impossible to be put down! This author created characters that were more than connectable, and yet the plot swept you into the world it resided in, and held you there with tense anticipation until you reached the very end of the book!

The book itself had its moments you were on edge due to the suspense, and times were you were held down with the sexual desire the book was able to give. What I loved most aside from the gripping plot, was the character Aimee. Such a  great character, she grew as a character, but didn't change who she was within her heart. I enjoyed Qadir as well. He was quite different than Aimee, but had that longing desire down path for sure. I loved the epicenes of danger and the adventure this book took me on. This book really had the wow factor, I knew it would be a good read, but I was truly blown away with the effect this book gave off! This was a book that was impossible to be put down! Seriously, loved this book!

Amazing read from start to finish! I was hooked and completely invested as I read through this book. The author was just as amazing. They created a story with sensational writing that kept you hooked as well as intrigued! This author and book are a must read for sure! Defiantly a high recommendation from myself!

Well I’m ready to trade my family -mom- SUV in for a piece of wood with wheels 🙃

Aimee aka Wheels may not have a formal education but she is very clever , can speak I think it’s 7 languages , she has street smarts and she has a good heart and a kindness to animals ❤️🐾

She’s a courier and she doesn’t shy away from hard work and she’s well loved by those who know her … it’s on a delivery that her paths cross that of royalty and she not only gets the delivery done on time but she also saves the life of his royal hotness !

I think she’s a breath of fresh air for many but so much more for Quadir ❣️😉 she’s sees the man not for what he can do for her ……

When I started this I wasn’t sure what to expect but what I got was absolute brilliance ! There was steam , there was laughter , there was fear and suspense !

I tried to summarise it as Pretty woman meets GI Jane meets Cinderella .

All is not what it seems , r there’s so much more to these people than meets the eye .

Aimee will make a perfect queen . She’s compassionate, kind , fair , humble , beautiful and she lives her life by her strong moral compass !

A read I will shout out from the mountain dune

I love a romance with a strong female character. Aimee is touch, strong and very independent. Through a few misadventures, she meets Qadir, pushes back againtst a corrupt cop and jus tries to live her life. Qadir is determined to make her his wife. Oh, did I mention he is a Sheik? This is a story that will entertain you. It's not your usual romance. Aimee tries to keep doing things for herself. Qadir is just trying to love her. The world is pushing back with problems. I found all the characters well-written. I love when she uses knowing Biggie as a threat. Or how her biggest treasure is her skateboard. The story is amazing. No glitches. I can't wait to reat the second book in the series. Power women make this series rock.
