It just wasn't engaging. I enjoyed reading it, but I was able to put it down with no feeling of loss and without feeling compelled to resume.

I love the two narrators for this series. I know I'd still love the story without them, but I doubt as much.

The book was interestingly great. It had good characters and a nice plot, yet I believe it was stretched for no reasons Certain parts were boring and long, and being repetitive.
Would recommend.

I LOVE this series of books following Will Robie and Jessica Reel. The characters are great, the story is great and the suspense created within the pages is great! Can't praise this series highly enough!!!!!!

Another really good book by David Baldacci --focused on two assassins and their fight to save the country from an unexpected danger.

An entertaining enough book, Baldacci's stories are a bit more complex and intricate than Vince Flynn or the like, but not by a whole lot. Will Robbie is an interesting and sympathetic character, at least as much as a hit man can be. I'll be interested to read the next book in this series.

I absolutely love this series -- after this book I think it may have passed Amos Decker on my Baldacci favorites list. The characters, plot, and the action are just fantastic!
I already knew from the first book that I loved Will Robie's ability to think for himself - beyond being just a tool of the government agency he's an assassin for - but The Hit brought that quality to the forefront. Charged with tracking down a fellow assassin - Jessica Real - who has been his equal (so, also the best the agency has) because she's gone rogue, we get to see Robie using his impressive skills but also questioning the web he and Jessica Real are entangled in. There's so many twists and turns, you'll be questioning and second guessing from start to finish. Loved it!
I listened to this and as with all David Baldacci's audio books, the performance is impeccable. They've really gone the extra mile, giving us two narrators, not just for the POVs but in a theatrical performance where they play all the male and female voices regardless of POV - Ron McLarty (male voices), Orlagh Cassidy (female voices). It's a real treat, along with sound effects, letting you get truly transported into the book. Highly recommend listening!
This book introduced a lot of players and threads that are sure to impact future books, leaving me super eager to continue reading.

I have always been a [a:David Baldacci|9291|David Baldacci|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1383944009p2/9291.jpg] fan ever since I read the [bc:King and Maxwell|17333431|King and Maxwell (Sean King & Michelle Maxwell, #6)|David Baldacci|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1379456669s/17333431.jpg|24064758] books but man, Will Robie *gushes* AMMMAAAZZIIINNGG.
Robie against Reel, the battle of the century
More like the battle of the giants,
But my best part,
Robie told Reel" Well , now you have me." "Do I? Really"
So Robie told her, "Close your eyes." She said, "What?"
" Close your damn eyes"
She closed her eyes and a minute passed when she finally reopened them. Will Robie was still there
*gushes* absolutely recommend this for all espionage lovers
