I had a really hard time getting into and staying within this last novel of the series. I think I severely burnt myself out by reading so many books in the month of May while healing from surgery.

This series was exciting and I loved every moment of it, so I was upset with myself for not wanting to finish this last book as much as I wanted to read the other books within the series.

The last novel definitely took some twists and turns that I was not anticipating that I really enjoyed in the end. I liked how those twists were explained. I would have LOVED to know what Gwen was going to tell Morgan before she and Draven split from the team.

I was literally in tears the last few chapters. So many deaths occurred in this last book that I was not expecting.

Nightpaw had me so happy and sad and rolling with laughter. I am seriously hoping that he or one of the sisters will be in the newer series that is being published. I am definitely excited to check that out and see what happens within those pages.

I highly recommend this series. It's steady, steamy and actually has a plot.

Although there is the whole undead children issue that might be a focus of this next series since Rychel wasn't able to cure those beings.

Anyways, it was a fantastic ride and WOW some of those spicy scenes were INTENSE ! I enjoyed my time in this world even though it left me sad from death.

Man this book crushed my soul. Such mixed feelings to wrap up this amazing story. This book seemed to have a large part of it be inspired by scenes from lord of the rings-namely mines of Moria. The sad parts were SAD but the plot was still so good. I do feel it didn’t have to be as crushing as it was though or I would have given it 5 stars.

Briar is such an incredible author. The consistency in tempo and writing through this book was the best I’ve ever read. Everything was organic and believable and her characters were all so rich, diverse and developed. I am officially a huge fan

Sad to be done with the journey of Morgan and Draven. This book had several twists I definitely didn't see coming! I enjoyed the rest of Morgan and Draven's tale. The journey is slower for most of the book and then a lot happens in the last several chapters.

"Knight of the Goddess" by Boleyn wraps up the Blood of a Fae series with a blend of action, romance, and dark magic. While I enjoyed the book, it fell short of my expectations, leaving me conflicted.

The pacing felt rushed, particularly during crucial battle scenes, where I expected more depth and detail. Despite some epic moments, many confrontations concluded abruptly, leaving me wanting more from Morgan and Draven's perspectives. However, the Battle at Tintagel is a shining example of well-executed fantasy warfare.

I was disappointed by the lack of emotional depth in character deaths, which failed to evoke the grief I anticipated. Even significant losses could not provoke my usual emotional response, leaving me questioning whether the fault lay with the writing or my emotional investment. On a positive note, integrating gods and goddesses into the narrative was masterfully done, adding depth to the world-building and delivering unexpected twists.

The characters undergo significant growth throughout their quest to destroy the relics, with Morgan and Draven emerging as their strongest selves. While their relationship flourishes, some dialogue feels overly cheesy, detracting from the seriousness of their situation. Additionally, the dual perspectives of Morgan and Medra provided intriguing insights into Medra's inner turmoil, though specific unanswered questions left me longing for more clarity.

While "Knight of the Goddess" may not match the enthralling quality of its predecessors, it still offers a captivating blend of dark magic, found family dynamics, and steamy romance. I recommend the Blood of the Fae series to fans of enemies-to-lovers romance and those seeking a unique spin on Arthurian legend with a fae twist.
