I would buy the second book

A good read with an interesting plot, even if not unexpected. It is well writen and really entertaining. I will buy the next one in this serie when it is released.

Love her sex scenes, story line and characters. New fave author!

With a title and cover like that, I didn't expect much but this book really surprised, entertained me and made me laugh out loud many times. I loved the narrative, plot, world building, characters and even some the heroine's outrageous shenanigans. I can't wait to read more on the Cadi warriors.

On one hand I liked some of the story, and on the other hand there were some situations that left me feeling a little....eeehhh



I mean I guess I liked that the h was crafty and used everything she had to her advantage...but some of the methods were a bit out there for moi.

I mean doing a belly dance/strip tease/lap dance in front of a small army of men, and then having a loud "shadow puppet"sex show with lots of vocals in order to win the men over by having them lust after her in hopes that they....stop seeing her as a pet?--really shouldn't have worked, but somehow did?



Or just the being stark naked and spanked in front of everyone as punishment then getting down- I guess I just like romance away from strangers objectifying gazes. I don't mind exhibitionists, but I guess I personally only like it to be between the couple and not for everyone to see.

Willing to admit that I may have loved this because I had very low expectations, but I still loved it! This book had no reviews but was free on Amazon so I thought "wtf, why not?" Its my most favorite genre and you can't beat free. Lucky day though, because I ❤'d this book! It was a really fun read. It could have been emotionally heavy given the plot but the author kept it light. "Jeezelle" was funny and Kagan was a little dopey for me but sweet and in keeping with the tone of the story... and the sex was hot! Thank you Ms. West for the read and I promise to buy the next one ッ

Great Story

This is my first Stephanie West book and it was really good!
Thoroughly enjoyed the plot and secondary characters. Can't wait to read the next book in her series. I do wish we were told how she was captured from her planet. I was really impressed with a kick ass heroine. Intrigued by the many references to "The Art of War" . I may have to read that too.

So history teacher Giselle is abducted by aliens and sold as a pet. I had pretty low hopes for this book but it was better than expected. Giselle takes everything in her stride and evolves from helpless, small, soft pet into kickass warrior who thinks up how to win a war whilst saying right on quotes from ‘The Art of War’. I found this novel. Giselle does seem to be extra special at everything but who looks for reality in an alien abduction adventure?

So yeah, she’s cool and upbeat and totally into her master Kagan. She manages to change his opinions about pets and slavery and get herself a hot, dirty talking ruler with a tail.

They also do it on a horse in public. So yeah, don’t go in looking for reality.

Very light BDSM but not enough to write home about.

This was surprisingly really good. A good plot, a fierce herione, and a huge red sexy warrior. I liked Kagan from the start, especially when he rescued Giselle from the psycho who bought her at the auction. The sex was so hot, but it stopped towards the end of the book, and I definitely wanted more. But their love story was great. Kagan could have just treated Giselle like his people expected, but he realized she was special and made sure his people knew it too. Giselle was my type of girl. She used martial arts to handle people who got touchy feely and helped Kagan's army in battle. The biggest reason I took a star off was the grammar errors. I usually don't let that affect my rating too much, but sometimes I had to read things twice to understand because of missing commas and stuff like that.
