Someone gave Nora this book as a "big sister" gift and it's wonderful. Maybe it's just the hormones, but I cry everytime I read it to her.

M really likes this book, and it's got a pretty sweet message.

My boys didn't let me read out loud to them very much because they have Autism but they let me read this one. It has become a favorite script of ours even now that they are 9 & 12. I love this book.

I loved the diverse cast of characters in both race and gender. Children's books tend to have only moms and female figures present, and it is nice to see some dads present in this book. Also the diverse activities and the different analogies and stories make it a refreshing book. This would be on my list of recommended children's books.
I also prefer the 20th Anniversary cover over the usual cover.
