Wow, the author of this book really does not like Princess Di! I felt like Diana was raked over the coals at every opportunity.
Aside from that, I enjoyed this book.

Painstakingly researched biography of the world’s most recognizable and famous lady, published 10 years before her death but still a full and fascinating portrait of her life.

I thoroughly enjoyed this biography, though I certainly did not read it to criticize. It was respectful, and not salacious or scandalous. As someone who is not British but finds the Royal family interesting, it was a good read.

I am fascinated by the queen and the way she navigated her time on this earth so gracefully through so much pressure. The only thing I didnt like about this book was the way it felt like a personal taking sides and vilification of Diana, more than really felt necessary to tell the Queen’s story.

The only biography of QE2 that has impressed me to this degree. Not only is it factual and steers away from any sort of sensational journalism, but it is warm and interesting.

I enjoyed the insight into Elizabeth and her life, however biased this biography may seem. Interesting and fascinating.
