I apologize for the extremely late review, life happened. Overall, I enjoyed this book! It started off interesting and I appreciated the fast pace of the story. I was able to easily immerse myself into the story and with the characters. I cackled at learning what type of shifter the MC became and it seems so at odds to her personality. I'm honestly not sure if her animal was helpful at all other than her gaining supernatural abilities, she was better off human for the most part. lol I liked that the pack had a variety of shifters.

Opportunities I noted: I'm not exactly sure if I connected with any of the male characters, they seemed like jerks and honestly I don't really care for the male love interest. I enjoyed the ending but I feel like the execution of the ending was a bit confusing. I would have liked more threads that logically lead to that ending because it was interesting and I did want to learn more. I just felt like it was a bit random for me. I'd like to be more cohesive with the overall story.

3.2 out of 5 rating for me!

(I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.)

I'm hooked...

A quick read with a LOT going on that keeps you wanting more when this book ends. This book has a sexy, grumpy alpha, found family, lots of twists, turns, and good humor. I am definitely looking forward to the second book!

this was a feel good book for me. It does have a bit of sexual content for a paragraph in the beginning and a chapter toward the middle FYI. For being a YA book it's great world building and unpredictable for me. it does give off fanfic vibes but really good fanfic vibes.

This ARC was through Sunny Babe PR so I guess you could say this was my first PR influencer ARC.
I rated this book 5 stars because I absolutely fell in love with all the characters, I was fully immersed in their stories and journeys. It had an amazing storyline and had the right amount of spice for this book. This book really exceeded my expectations and I could not put the book down. I would definitely reread this book again. It was so good. Savannah Lee is amazing and I have no complaints about this book. If I could rate this book any higher than 5 stars I most definitely would.

No real character development. Not well written. Plot is lacking.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the intermingling of shifter romance with witchy vibes and mated betrayal and a murder investigation. I was expecting Rowan to find her mate in this book, so I'm sort of sad that didn't happen, but I'm still holding out hope that a certain someone wasn't actually mated and was tricked…

I loved each little twist as we wove our way through this story. From finding out what Rowan's animal form is, to the friend's death that I did not expect, to the fae element that came in towards the end, to the betrayal that I *might* have seen coming, but was hoping I was wrong about. I really enjoyed this book, and I cannot wait for the next in the series because I need a resolution for my babies!

There were a few things that I questioned while reading, but they didn't necessarily take away from my enjoyment of the story. I did notice quite a few typos while I was reading, but I marked them as I went in case the author would like the feedback, but besides those this would have been a solid 4⭐ read for me. I do feel like I have read very similar stories (but I don't put any of that on the author, I have just read a lot of shifter books), but I loved all of the unique elements here that helped make it its own. All in all, I had a great time reading this book and it held my interest the whole way through!
