I liked this one. More development of relationships and character establishment is always nice, and it didn't dig too deeply into the overarching plot of antagonism (which, while I understand is necessary to drag out a series this long, is usually not my favorite part of reading this genre). Mostly I'm just here to see the two get together, which I'm going to guess is going to take forever. But that's okay.

Sooo much pining! I have always heard people mention the farming arc in this series and now I have finally read it ♥️ This book was so fun to read and I only put it down when life responsibilities forced me to. Meatbun went a little easy on us as far as pain and suffering but there is definitely some angst!

This book was very horny after all the pain from the last volumes but also kinda heartwarming at the same time (mostly horny, though). It is nice that MR finally got his shit together but they are both so bloody stubborn and can't believe the other shares their feelings and it is so frustrating to watch. I think we're getting there though.
I am also intrigued by the Ye Wangxi and Nangong Si storyline and am looking forward to MR crashing that wedding (if that is even what's going to happen lol).
