Legally Blonde is one of my FAVORITE movies of all time. I love how empowering it is. This book didnât make me feel as empowered. I do say that it does have a good story line and I probably wouldâve liked it without seeing the movie.
The movie is more comedic and has more of a female empowering presence that I love. In the book, the professors are different and there isnât a Callahan or an Emmett. Stromwell isnât a character (and she is KEY in the movie.)
I think if I wouldnât have been so hooked on the movie I wouldâve enjoyed the book better but I compared it too much and loved the movie more.

I love the movie and was excited to finally read this book. While the main plot points from the movie have clear linkages to the novel, there are definitely some noticeable differences as well. There were pieces of the book's storyline I enjoyed more than the movie, but parts of the movie I wouldn't change even though they're not in the book.
