I really enjoyed the first book of this series, so I ordered next two books right away. I'm kind of afraid of the second books of the series since they almost always let me down. Blaze pleasantly surprised me. I always take notes while I'm reading about some parts and boy did I take a lot of notes while reading this one.
Harper is such an amazing characters and I just love her. Usually I don't like badass characters (like Annabeth from Percy Jackson) since they annoy the hell out of me but Harper is such a well written character you can't help but love her. I especially like how she can be so calm while she's in danger. Harper wants to take care of things by herself instead of always asking help from her family, friends or mate. Harper hates that she's jealous for some of Knox's exes but I think she deals with them perfectly. I don't think I could handle them so well after all the things they always say to her.
Knox is turning out to be another demon I just adore. He's such a romantic with the things he says even though he can't say 'I love you' often. Knox didn't even thing that he had gentleness in him until Harper came along. He selfishly wants to be all Harper wants and needs but he also gets that she also has family ad friends who love her.
I loved the romance even more than before. You could clearly see how much Harper and Knox trust in each other and how possessive they are of each other. Knox worries about Harper a lot and he doesn't like it when she does dangerous things but he doesn't want her to change either. I think this is important because if you want to change the person you love-- do you really love them at all?
There actually was Charmed mention in this book! Have I mentioned lately what an obsession that show was to me as a child?
There was a mystery in Blaze like there was in Burn. I think I should've at least guessed who was working with the main 'bad guy'. But it was a shock for me, so I can't wait to see what kind of mysteries there will be in next books.
All in all I loved Blaze! It's rare for me to like second book more than the first one but that's what happened with Dark In You series. Last time I remember that happening was with ACOTAR.

Love Knox, love Harper, love this world!
Not much else to say, but a few nitpicky snags slightly docked my score:
◦ Harper kept balking over Knox's protectiveness. Given the situation, it wasn't logical, and started to feel repetitive.
◦ Her (⚠spoiler)
◦ A subplot involved the 150th anniversary of "The Underground", which exists underneath the Las Vegas Strip. But 150 years ago, Vegas was basically tumbleweeds. Silly point since this is an alternate reality, but hey it distracted me!

half-brother being a "big bad" seemed way too convenient.◦ A subplot involved the 150th anniversary of "The Underground", which exists underneath the Las Vegas Strip. But 150 years ago, Vegas was basically tumbleweeds. Silly point since this is an alternate reality, but hey it distracted me!

Knox and Harper continue to fall in love and work together to solve mysteries. Crow kidnaps Harper’s mom and threatens to kill Knox because of his vision. The fact that one of Harper’s half brothers was one of the four horsemen does not surprise me at all. I thought that the plot was good. The character development was fun! I loved Knox and Harper’s relationship. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. Also Devon and Tanner have my heart <3.

Having an "I'm not like other girls" personality is in no way shape or form a likeable character.
I'm sick of all those women fighting for Knox. I don't know what they see in him. He's written like he's the son of the holy spirit when there's nothing remotely interesting about him. The amount of times I've read about his past hookups against my will was enough to rate this book 2 stars. It's annoying.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A second book as good as the previous one !!
If the first book described the meeting between Harper and Knox (<3), this second one shows how a hyper powerful demon obsessed with control and an independent sphinx and stubborn happen to be together .... And it's MAGIC x)
What I particularly liked :
- Harper and Knox who are too cute but without becoming sickening and without losing their personalities !! (the ring <3)
- the different intrigues twisted with Crow and especially the Four Horsemen x) (I must confess that for me, they are ALL suspects ><)
- the secondary characters and especially his team of tattoo artists but also Jolene =)
- I love when we have glimpses of Harper and Knox's demons <3
What I liked least:
- the beginning of the first chapter was very confused ... Too much posturing in the alley ><
- could we come across Knox exs' who aren't b*tches ? I have the impression we've got a new b*tch with each new Isla, Belinda, Alethea etc.
- Lou who is a little disappointing ... And who is not very useful x)
- always a little too much sex scenes ><
In short, if you only have to read a series by this author, for me it's this one =D I'm going to read the third book right now x)
This is the second of three books in this series. I didn’t love the first half of this book really, but the second half got pretty good. Definitely a darker romance storyline.
I really enjoyed the second book in the Dark in You series, it's a direct follow up to the first book, following Harper and Knox. I like Suzanne's straight-to-the-point writing style and I think the plot of this book was better than the first one. However, I'm getting tired of all these women being petty, jealous and mean at Harper for being with Knox. Don't get me wrong, I think one or two would make sense considering he has a lot of exes and he was a very sexually active male, but besides Harper's best friends whom didn't know Knox, all the women Harper meets are mean and jealous of her and are trying to break them up. It's kind of ridiculous honestly and it gets old fast. I also think all the repetition of what happened in the first book is annoying, this is a direct follow up and would not make sense to read on its own, I got tired of reading about everything I had literally just read in the first book. I did like Knox a lot in this book, I like that he has a sweet side with Harper and can still be a big asshole too, which works for him. Overall, this was a great read, I enjoyed the storyline and I really liked seeing Harper and Knox's relationship develop but I hope Suzanne eases up on the "all women are jealous of Harper" thing.
Another amazing book! There were some plot lulls but it was still very interesting! Something I think is understated is the way the author wrote the communication between the love interests, that is what all adult relationships should sound like!
