OH. MY. GODDDDD.
i adore this book. so much.

  • childhood friends that had a falling out (not really as present in the book as others)
  • DUAL POV
  • boy falls first and falls harder
  • no literally nico is so unhinged with his obsession and affection THE ENTIRE TIME
  • kinda like a domino effect of events that were slightly controlled by the characters (cough, nico, cough)
  • it’s so easy to get lost in this book tbh
  • THE WEEKEND TRIP FOR KRISTA’S BDAY
  • it’s a really good friend group and they’re all tons of fun and super amusing (adore macy and carley)
  • FAKE DATING
  • football player x dancer trope (i’m so weak for wide receivers tbh, and she’s a hip-hop dancer)
  • “for as long as i can remember, he and i have always shared a fence.”
  • NEIGHBORS THEYRE NEIGHBORS. THEY BASICALLY SHARE A BACKYARD
  • “trust me, he don’t hate you.” -his best friend
  • nico is unhinged. he is.
  • he also is kinda a baby throwing a temper tantrum.
i don’t get why he was so upset abt learning Trent and Demi slept together in sophomore year WAY BEFORE THEY WERE EVEN TOGETHER. i get the brocode betrayal but he was blowing it outta proportion tbh :/
  • deffo check TWs ‘cause there are some heavy topics but meh
  • no literally i am not going to be getting over the weekend trip EVER BC OML
  • i love rich characters bc they do the stupidest unhinged shit and it’s so ridiculous to read through :p
  • the development of the characters was actually really smooth
  • the process of going from fake dating to real was pretty smooth and a blurred line that made it pretty much seamless
  • demi defender til i die tbh🗣️🗣️
  • GOD THEY WERE SO
  • the. weekend. trip. i love the weekend trip.
  • “faking it ain’t all that hard, my man.”
  • kinda some unnecessary third act drama/breakup but GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
  • sorry that’s a little bit of an exaggeration
  • “she doesn’t loose her cool all that often…only when something means enough for her to.”
  • literally the quotes i could put are endless🫠🫠
