I really enjoyed this book it was something I haven't even read before. I just think that it was amazing but not enough to get a full 5 stars. the ending was not very satisfying and all that plot building to an ending which was ok.

what?
nope. this book just didn't work for me. 15-yr olds shouldn't just aimlessly runaway like that. this romance is also just no. it's insta-love. so no. no. NO!

If your idea of thriller is Hitchcock then this book ISNT for you, it wasn't a thriller it was however a nice story of teenage runaway. Maybe if I read it again i would understand it but its not a thriller as the cover suggest

I was really disapointed by this read.
First the story. Where is the story? Everything is too fast, too boring. When I was reading I was like "okay, yeah, okay, but is there something happening in this book?". There's no romance, no love story, and you know how much I love cheesy and cute romances.
Second the characters. I really hated Gloria (no, I'm not hard it's true), cause she was too "i-don't-care-of-everything" (do you see what I mean?). And she was too... herself? There's just some characters I don't like, I don't know why.

I assumed this would be a YA suspense story or thriller, and while it does have suspenseful elements, I wasn't prepared for the beauty of the writing, or for Bedford's story-telling style. This was a solid YA suspense novel, with a little contemporary romance, and a dash of writing that at times seemed John Green-esque.
Gloria's story unfolds through her answering Police interview questions, which explains both the present day scenario and also drip-feeds the story in a way that keeps the reader hooked until the last page. Twenty Questions for Gloria is a coming of age tale, that wasn't disappointing for being different than I first imagined, if anything it made it a more intriguing read. However, I believe it's marketed as a thriller, which doesn't quite fit how the story ultimately unfolds.
3.5/5* review - I was provided with a copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book.

'We are the sum of our choices'
Overall I'd give this book 3.5 stars.
Good:
Structre of the story is good, I like the interview layout and the way the chapters are different questions based on the interview.
Well-rounded character personalities.
The conversations between everyone
Bad:
A bit slow to start with, takes a few chapters before it really kicks in.
Even when it did kick in it was slow majority of the time.
Some of the character's decisions that they made were stereotypical.
The Characters:
Uman:
Pretty sassy, but gives off a cocky impression at the same time, understandable why Gloria likes him.
He is charismatic as hell.
Gloria:
Gloria is one of the pretty innocent main characters, the typical innocent girl drawn to a bad boy. Although, she does stick out in a lot of chapters
Tierney:
Eh.
Bit of a background character.
Would've liked to potentially see more of her in the book as it went on.
Overall I'd give this book 3.5 stars.
