Boring. From the first page my thought was “this is silly.” I quickly thought that it seemed like a young adult book. When I went back to Goodreads to see what genre(s) it filed it under, sure enough, it’s YA. There have been other books in this category that I’ve enjoyed. The prompt I needed was “ set in a landlocked country.” This takes place in Switzerland. Most other books that I saw in the list with this prompt are war stories which I really wanted to avoid.
