The first Thor comic I’ve read and it was a pretty great one. Thor can easily be very bland but I thought he was pretty interesting and complex here. He didn’t just seem like an idiot jock. The art was amazing and the story was a little convoluted but not too much that it was nonsensical.

There were some really interesting ideas brought up here that I didn’t think were fully explored enough. Mainly along the lines of Gorr likely being right in his mindset. I also felt they did a lot of talk of gods being selfish beings, but it was never fully shown. They were more so just ignorant.

All in all if the MCU had followed closer to this plot and taken Love and Thunder more seriously, they definitely would’ve had a better movie. There was even a decent amount of humor in this that never felt grating

I've never read a Thor comic book before because it was never in my sights however I'm not disappointed in this one. It has an amazing artwork and dark story that could've been better adapted into the movie screen. Gorr is one of the darkest characters I've ever meet not just in comics but fiction in general and the message behind that everyone who seeks too much power transforms into a god and therefore is selfish and evil it's a great thing to see for something as mature as this. It has its boring chapters and just because of that it didn't land into my favorites but I loved every second of it and it's definitely one to recommend to people who never read Thor before

Wow! Just wow. This was incredibly. This was amazing this story was so well done. Everything that happened was unexpected and wonderful and action filled.d I loved this. So amazing/ The art was a t first a different style to get used to but I did and loved it. My only issue is a flaw with one of the character designs and I am not sure who thought of it, or who decided it was a good idea but it cracked me up.

A great Thor adventure, epic, grim and dark with a kind of gallows humor that fits the character.

The art is amazing and the way to take advantage of the floating dialogues while the action unfolds in the background as well as the editing between different times is top.

Decision to change style for Gorr's story wasn't necessary, but isn't a problem either, while Thor's different personalities endow the older one with less experience compared to the villain and the younger one with more 'cause of the closeness of events, gives a great balance, placing the middle one closest to the antagonist. Great addition in modern history of comic.

Definitely my favorite standalone run for Thor. The dynamics of having the different staged Thor's working together was nice although it would've been fun to see them push that dynamic a bit further. Also, there's really nothing more I can say that hasn't already been said about the amazing artwork. Some of the spreads are simply breathtaking.

I read a few of the stories in this volume in a dutch translation. But those translations stopped before the story was concluded. So now I picked up this epic tale of Thor fighting against a God killer throughout the eons. The story is mostly about Thor and the changes he went through during his very long life.

The art is gorgeous and the writing is very good. My only gripe is that the second part the god bomb lasts a bit to long. It feels a bit stretched out to ramp up the page count. But still a very good book and I will continue with the rest of Aaron's run.
