I love this series!!!!
I had took a break from it for awhile and happy I am back at it! I love the action and real life scenarios the author brings to these books. The one thing I don't like is the ending always feels rushed. The whole book is building up to this one thing that ends within a chapter or two.

As always, Brad Thor is on current events and brings another action packed thriller. This time Scot Harvath has to fight terrorism on the homefront.
Brad Thor's character Scot Harvath has evolved over the years/novels to a character that stands up for his beliefs and country. he is doing the dirty work so that Americans can sleep at night. He wants to keep his country save and he will sacrifice his own life for it.
I know that Scot Harvath is a fictional character. I can only hope that there real Scot Harvath's out there doing exactly that.: Keeping us safe from all enemies, foreign or domestic.
I can only recommend the novels. You dont have have the previous novels read, but it certainly helps. This time Brad Thor has done remarkable research. He stays true to the characters and story line.

Cat and mouse thriller with great characters. Some of it set in Virginia.

Kind of feels formulaic

It's another quick read but I didn't really get the motive for the villain in this one. Most of the time that's the real crux of these stories. Otherwise you get the same repetitive characters and the same storylines which feel played out.

Awesome thriller! Creepy reminder of how far technology has come and what's possible... a modern day 1984! I read this during my lunch breaks and couldn't wait till lunch each day to get to read more. Great character development along a thrilling story line.
