Did not capture my attention in the first two chapters so I abandoned it. Interesting premise, but the Scot's are a bit too surly and prejudiced for me atm.

The basic set up of It’s Getting Scot in Here has a lot of potential for an entertaining romance. Amelia is arranged to wed a titled man she doesn’t care for, only find she’s fallen for his younger brother. However, I found the complicated family dynamics in the background very distracting. The story tries to paint Niall’s mother in a sympathetic light, but I couldn’t stop thinking about how she left her sons in Scotland and never visited them for 17 years. When they arrive in England, she playfully chastises them for being upset, acting as if they’re being silly for feeling abandoned and not wanting a relationship with her. The romance itself was a little dragged out but still pleasant enough. What I found most surprising was how tame the sex scenes were. Honestly, they might as well have been fade-to-black. I would never have thought this were possible in a Highlander romance. Overall, I found the reading experience a bit unexpected, but it was entertaining enough for what it is.

Too slow, and I didn’t like the choice of narrator. I might’ve finished if I was reading the book instead of listening.

“Because of you, I am me.”
I LOVE THIS BOOK.
It is not just a romance novel, its a story of female empowerment and independent!
We love a Scottish dude with kilts. Well, I love it..
I love the dynamic between the siblings. I am so excited to read the rest of the siblings story!
I love the female main character.
She is unapologetic, she know what she wants and she knows for sure what she want in a man that wants her for her.
The relations of the two main character is just so flirtatious.
Their banter and their romance,
Their chemistry and character development revolves around them individually and together with their own strong personality, they are stronger together.
“His oldest brother continued gazing at him. “Ye certain about this? I reckon ye could find a lass who’s a lot less trouble.” “Aye. Mayhap I could. But she’s my adae, and I’ll nae be without her.”
