A boy's journey to find his birth parents with flashbacks to his childhood in India. Well written and very moving.

For some reason, I went into this thinking it was fiction but turns out it was someone's actual life story. I'm not the biggest fan of non-fiction books, and honestly, as much as inspiring this was, it didn't steer much emotion out of me. It's probably because of the way it was written too.
I am excited to watch the film adaptation though, because DEV PATEL so there's that...

One of those stories that is heartwrenching and unbelievable to hear, and the ultimate outcomes are even more miraculous. The power of the human spirit, generosity of strangers, and family are a beautiful thing. This is a great choice if you are looking for something uplifting to read.
