I haven’t read a MHC book in a bit, and this one didn’t disappoint! I think this is one of my favorites— I didn’t figure it out ahead of time and there was no damsel in distress. Great mystery book!

Felt long and dragged out. Unnecessary details and far too many side characters.
Would have been great if a few middle chapters had been let out and the ending was given more pages.

Another thrilling book, carefully written by the Queen of Suspense.

I just couldn't put the book down! This is why I love these kind of books. It makes you feel scared about the characters. It keeps you guessing and guessing until the end. Two hands up for this book!

The dramatic story of two women, best friends, one of whom is charged - and convicted - of a murder the other may have committed. When Julia is released from prison at the age of 36, the first item on her agenda is to settle the score with her former friend.

Couldn't put it down. Great plot and suspense.

DNF at page 220.

I’m bored. This was not as captivating as previous MHC
books I’ve read. I’ll chalk this one up to a bad mistake and move on.
