CW: transphobia

I like this series.  The characters are interesting and the storyline is different, about 2 high school friends who are designing a clothing line.
The MC is a trans boy and this volume seemed to be a bit all over the place, but then maybe that was the point?  There was a lot of “mild” transphobia, which is the reality for trans folks; others being okay using your pronouns, but then not being allowed to use the corresponding washroom, or still being assigned tasks that are stereotypically the incorrect gender (ie: working front of house instead of back of house at a restaurant).
Looking forward to reading more of this series!

I didn’t enjoy this as much as the first volume…I could see the cliffhanger coming a mile away and it infuriated me. That being said this was an interesting look into friendships and what it means to be “a man”. I can’t wait to read volume three!!

I love Mizuki so much! She’s so cool, and just a great example of an ally. I really need to get vol 3 now!!
