Love a cheesy romance, this ripped my heart out (ironic). Twist at the end was SO great but so heavily hinted that it was hard not to see coming.

First of all thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for access to this book.

This was a book that’s usually not the type I would go for. That being said I actually enjoyed this very much. The writing was engaging and the story very interesting and believable.

The issue I have is with the end. It just felt like there was so much unexplained and left open.

Even with a not so awesome ending this was still a solid read and I’m glad to have gotten the chance to read it!

I adored this book and had to give it 5 stars for how the author took me out of what I thought was Chloe's reality. The surprises just did not stop coming and I loved every minute of it. People can try to think of how it will end and still will NEVER see that coming, which I can't say for all books. I like Chloe as a character and even more so Kai. It made me so sad because I desperately wanted them to be together and it completely mind screwed me!
At first I was confused but then I Chloe concluded that one of the universes with different outcomes and realities intersected with hers. Causing Chloe and Kai to meet even though it would have never been possible for both to live in the same universe. Its still hard for me to grasp all of it cause of how insane and genius it is. I was shell-shocked that Chloe had Kai's hard and was so sad that they weren't endgame for obvious reasons lmao.
Highly recommend this book!

You have to listen to the song by The Oh Hellos "Hello My Old Heart". I don't know how the author found it, but it is the perfect song for this story. But, don't listen to the song until you've gotten to that part of the book. It just won't be as meaningful if you listen before you read that far into the book. (It was page 207 in my copy)
