I was surprised that I actually really enjoyed this book. Some interesting twists and turns I didn't see coming.

MUCH better than the last Private book I read - smarter co-author on this one that kept the pace fast, the writing good, and the plot full of twists.

Set in India but the book never captured the spirit of the country or the culture. It really was just a run of the mill murder mystery. There was nothing special about Private.

This book did have something I have not seen in a Patterson book before though. It had not 1 but 2 ebook chapters that were 6 pages long!!!!

Forgettable read. Cliched af. Characters failed to make any impact. Also, I didn’t like the fact that the author shoves in facts as though it’s an encyclopaedia. I have enjoyed a few books by both authors separately in the past, but this combination doesn’t work at all. And, I had some questions about the plot, but then I realised I forgot some other parts (the next day itself I.e.,) and now I don’t really care. Meh.

This was an okay book. Same as all the others that patterson writes but they are quick enjoyable reads
