Of the intro, four content chapters, and coda, I read the intro, 2 chapters (skimmed one more), and the coda. So, I can't quite give a comprehensive rating to this book. But, from what I read, I thought the theory was quite interesting and well argued. Academic and dense, but not overwhelmingly so. I couldn't quite connect to some of the chapters as I hadn't read/watched the media referenced, so mileage may vary. I thought the coda, which gave a looser examination to some thoughts the author had while writing this book, was an interesting way to round out the collection.

You can easily get away with just reading the introduction for the base theory of "racialized disgender," as each of the following articles just reinforced and loosely built off what was explored in the intro.

Each chapter felt like a disconnected essay, but as far as books on critical disability studies, I've read worse.
