A fascinating look into whales and how and why they evolved and function! A great read for anyone interested in science or nature. It’s told through the author Nick Pyenson’s experiences travelling around the world looking for whale fossils. His own experiences mixed with more scientific research keeps you engaged and the chapters are very well paced. Plus there’s some neat drawings sprinkled in!
