enjoyable

The only thing that would make it five stars is less fluff. I find all the non plot driven conversations boring.

Otherwise I really liked this one

Brinkley and Lincoln...what a story! I loved their first interaction, even if it did get her fired, but the first interaction when they were in Cottonwood Cove was the best. Lincoln coming around and deciding to let Brinkley in was tough for him, but I loved that the situation didn't change who they were.

There was great banter, some that made me LOL, and some that was definitely flirty. It turned out that they were great together, but it came with a lot of walls being broken down and trust being given even when they were nervous to do so.

Another great read!

I love Brinkley so much. Her passion, fire, stubbornness, loyalty and beautiful heart had me eagerly awaiting her story, and it was gorgeous. Lincoln is her perfect match and their enemies to friends to lovers story was magic. I loved the banter, the push and pull, the slow build, the chemistry and connection, and the way they open their hearts to each other. It was wonderful to be back in Cottonwood Cove with the Reynolds family and friends and a visit from the extended family was an extra treat. Laura Pavlov is an absolute superstar and one of my favourite authors and I’m very excited for Finn and Reece’s story next.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

“You were being a brat.” …
“Says the most difficult man on the planet.” She raised a brow.
“Thank you, sweetheart. I strive to be the best. That means a lot to me.” I loved *messing* with her.

My favorite book in the series so far! I love Brinkley so much, she’s spunky and stands her ground, loving hard. Lincoln had no chance resisting her charm. Can’t wait to read more of the Reynolds’ stories!

This was fine. A little far fetched that they magically end up hiding out in the same small town, and I didn’t love how so much of Brinkley’s overstepping was written off bc shes a journalist, but a pretty good small town enemies-to-lovers
