So much unnecessary and annoying drama, but I still really enjoyed most of it, and I loved the main characters.

decent read.

I enjoyed it overall, but I think it didn’t need that many books. One maybe two would have sufficed. There was a lot of angst and back forth with the Will they won’t they. Not my cup of tea.Which is why I gave it four stars and not lower. It’s not about whether it’s my cup of tea or not. It had characters you could invest in which is why I stuck it out til the last book.

I can’t believe it took 4 books to reveal the Sara and Volt twist, which was made pretty obvious from early on? Very slow, and Volt was so toxic it really bothered me that Taylor kept going back to him? He’s abusive as hell and that’s not something to romanticise

Oh, let me count the ways....

...that this series drove me up a wall in frustration. These two main characters are the densest people ever. To both be educators, logic was not in the realm of their wheelhouses. I don’t even necessarily mind that it took three books for them to get together. Actually I do but they irritation pales in comparison to the dumb plot that happened in this fourth book. This author took Taylor’s naïveté to a whole other plane. I was literally beating my mattress I was so frustrated.
Ugh! Save yourself the headache and read something else.
