I loved Cole and Lori since the minute I started reading this book. They met when she bumped into him and he just knew he needed to get to know her better. Lori thought he was gorgeous but so out of her league. When they bump into each other again they both know it’s fate. While Cole thinks the sexy brunette is different and someone he will want to see more, Lori thinks the total opposite. She’s never had a one night stand but making an exception for Cole. After their steamy night she sneaks out the next day and Cole is devastated. He spends two months trying to find her with no luck.

Two months later they find each other in the most unexpected way, he’s her new boss. While she’s freaking out Cole doesn’t care and is trying for Lori to see things his way and to not worry. Lori has struggled so much and she doesn’t want anyone taking care of her and wants to achieve her goals on her own without anyone thinking that she’s sleeping her way up the ladder. Cole sees her as none of that. He sees her as an independent, strong, intelligent gorgeous woman. He tries to help her out financially because he’s a millionaire and that infuriated her.

These two had a push and pull relationship with her always trying not to hand over control to Cole. Cole was a dreamy hero that knew what he wanted and never gave up. The chemistry between them was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I would love to read more on this power couple.

These two are still in the honeymoon phase and Cole is much more protective of Lori. There is no stopping this dynamic duo. After their steamy romantic fiery honeymoon they return to intense drama related to their work. Cole is in alpha protective mode and literally doesn’t want Lori leaving his side. Especially after an incident that happened to her his protectiveness has gone thru the roof.

They are different developments pertaining to their job. Intense moments that are full of angst but they still don’t lose that fire in their marriage. There was a moment when I bought things were going to change but it didn’t. I love these two and I love how they complete and compliment each other.

Dirty Rich Cinderella Story

*received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**

4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely loved this book. The two main characters are dynamite together. Lori is sassy and a hard worker. Cole is confident and charming, he knows what he wants and that’s Lori. Sparks are flying when they are together and they will learn how to much the can care for one another if they give themselves a chance.

Lori is working hard to make ends meet and help her mom out. She has quit school, but in working many jobs she has met Cat who might be able to help her out with getting her into a program that can help her finish school. In the mean time she meets Cole who is suppose to be one night, but might be more.

Cole is entranced with Lori from the beginning and knows he doesn’t want just one night. But when she leaves without a trace he tries to find her and ends up with nothing. And when he thinks he won’t find her, she ends up at his new office. Even though she is his employee he can’t stop how he feels.

Will she give him a chance? Will they be able to work things out?

Note: This ARC was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review, the entirety of which can be read on Dog-Eared Daydreams.

Dirty Rich Cinderella Story is the second standalone novel in Lisa Renee Jones's Dirty Rich series, although the main characters from Dirty Rich One Night Stand, Cat and Reese Summer, are supporting characters here, with Cat being Lori's boss first and then Reese being Cole's law partner. The Cinderella-esque aspect of this book has to do with Lori leaving before Cole can get any sort of personal information out of her after their hook-up. That doesn't mean, however, that Lori is some damsel in distress even though her life is not how she envisioned it when she was still an ambitious law student. She isn't the easiest female main character to like, what with her making assumptions about Cole and being a wee bit more abrasive than I would have preferred. And even though I'm sure it would tick Lori off, Cole really did save the day. He was such a great male main character and I liked that he wasn't this overly domineering nor aggressive guy who thought he owned the universe. Still, Dirty Rich Cinderella Story was both dirty and rich in terms of romance, and it garners four stars. ♥

I enjoyed this story. It was sexy and held my attention. It was a little slow at times, but overall, it was an intriguing story and I really loved the characters and storyline. I thought the characters were great together and I really found myself rooting for them and dying for them to get back together. I love Lisa's work and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next!

Holy WOW!!! I really love the way LRJ writes a book. The mixes of passion, hate, and lust to love are just perfect. This book was nothing short of amazing. Loved the way Cole and Lori went back and forth with each other about the things that were holding her back from moving forward with her life.

Excellent story about overcoming your fears and falling in love, about getting the negative thoughts out of your mind and achieving your goals. 5 stars for sure.
