Sad story, not beautifully written. Writer should know that this type of story doesn't attract much readers because protagonist must kill herself to be with her lover. Publishers must know that readers, even bookworm won't buy this book. Only library interested in collecting The Hidden.

Well, this is the final book in The Hollow Series and what a finish! I will do a brief character overview because I have done a more detailed one HERE!

Abbey – Abbey has made her decision to be with Caspien but other forces are in play.

Caspien – is Abbey’s soul mate. He is the ghost that haunts her dreams. Caspien loves Abbey dearly and wants to be with her; however, he also wants her to enjoy the time she has left on Earth.

Ben – remains to be one of Abbey’s best friends. He is supportive, loving, and kind. He still loves Kristen, but her time has come and gone.

Cyn – is the new girl at school – the girl who is assigned Kristen’s locker. Cyn becomes a good friend to Abbey and helps her in ways I could never have imagined.

Cacey, Uri, Kame, and Sophie – are still hanging around Sleepy Hollow, protecting Abbey. Their job becomes harder than ever in this installment.

Vincent Drake – is still after Abbey. He is a royal pain in the butt.

Again, Jessica has written a novel that pulls you deep within the walls of Sleepy Hollow. Her characters have more charm and charisma in The Hidden (if that’s even possible.) And the twists and turns…oh wow. I honestly have to say that I never saw this ending coming. The Hidden is a  suspenseful and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Abbey accepted her destiny in The Haunted and now she is just waiting to see when IT will happen. She is driving everyone crazy with questions, some that are answerable and some that just aren’t. Problem is – things are changing in Sleepy Hollow. Things are changing with Caspien. Things are changing for Abbey in ways she had only dreamed about? Is she ready to leave it all behind?

Caspien is hanging on to Abbey but there is something much bigger than the both of them is at work. Is it possible that their destiny will never be complete? While Caspien does want to be with Abbey, he also wants what would be best for her. (I would definitely compare him to Edward Cullen in this installment.)

As Abbey and Caspien carry on with life, the Revenants are having a hard time figuring out what is happening with Vincent. He continues to cause upheaval in Sleepy Hollow – causing much grief and suffering. If he can keep Caspien and Abbey apart for just long enough, his life may change dramatically

I was very surprised by the turn of events in The Hidden. It really wasn’t the ending I was hoping for, but a great ending all the same. And…I promise that more of you will be happy with the ending than unhappy with it. I tend to see things a little strange sometimes.  So go read it! Now!

If you think The Hollow and The Haunted are amazing, you have to read The Hidden.
I am completely speechless right now, I'm in shock... The storyline had a different ending than the one I expected T_T...
I loved this one as well, I had no idea how the story was going, it kept me reading until the end.
I had to cry! I definitely didn't expect all of that!! XS
I'll miss this trilogy and I wish the best for Jessica Verday <3

Wow, i finished reading this in a day, I bought it during the afternoon. This series has made me cry so many times. After reading all of the books, you realise that the core themes are friendship, love and self sacrifice. The friendship that Abbey and Kirsten have and the love that they both feel towards each other. Theirs is a special bond. The love that Abbey and Caspian have and how they can only touch once a year. I loved the whole series, the first book was actually sitting on my shelf for a while before I finally opened it, and when I did I was hooked. There arent many books like this out there.

I was afraid the girl was going to have to kill herself to be with the boy but Verday came up with an unexpected ending. I still don't fully get the logic of how this works out, and admittedly, I was reading very quickly just to try to figure out what happens, but somehow the trade feels better than her dying simply to be with him.

I fell in love with the Sleepy Hollow series by Jessica Verday.

I didn't quite know how it was going to end, with the main character rethinking her life.

It was great and exactly how I wanted it to be.

Thank you Jessica for such a lovely tale of everlasting love.

I have been following the mysterious journey of Caspian and Abbey since the beginning book called The Hollow. I was sucked into the legend of Sleepy Hollow and the beautiful romance between the characters. The Hidden is the third and final book in The Hollow trilogy, and the author let it end with a bang.

I will start off by saying that if you haven't read the previous books in the series, you will have a hard time understanding what is going on this book. You will also be confused at the basic plot and who all the characters are. For this reason, this is not a stand alone novel. You really need to read the whole series to understand how Caspian and Abbey have made it to this final chapter. I found myself having to read the previous book before I even attempted to read this one. I needed a refresher course on their story to be able to remember what has happened previously.

In The Hidden, secrets will be revealed along with the mysterious death of Kristen. The reader finally gets closure and answers involving Kristen's death, her relationship with Vincent, what Vincent really wants, and the future that can be involving Caspian. Favorite characters are returned to the fold and make an appearance for the the conclusion as well. The author even gave the reader an unexpected epilogue that finalized the story for the reader.

If I had to pick one problem with this story, it would be the fact that I have mentioned before in this series. It moves slowly throughout the book until you reach the ending. Finally, when the ending was approaching, it picked up its pace and was great. I am saddened by the thought that I am finished with this series because I loved Caspian and Abbey so much. Yet, as they say, all good things must come to an end. Trust me when I say that it is an ending worth the time of reading about!
