Honestly, I'm confused with how I feel about the ending to this trilogy. On one hand, I'm in love with this series and I think it's such a great romantic love story but on the other, I really do have some doubts on the ending.

Abbey and Caspian pretty much get what they want, which is great, but there's definitely questions to that. Without spoiling too much, how do "the people involved" explain things to "the parents involved"? That in itself is the biggest question/problem I have with the ending.
SpoilerIn addition, while I think it's great that they ended up together, and that Abbey was the one who was meant to die in the first place, the message that the ending seems to be giving is that it's okay to die for a boy you love, and I don't think that's a positive message you want to be spreading to young teenage girls.

Another minor "problem" was all the information dump we got, especially regarding the Revenants. I'm sorry, but after reading [b:Die for Me|9462812|Die for Me (Revenants, #1)|Amy Plum|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1305753600s/9462812.jpg|10280032], I can't think of that word without thinking of the book and I have to say, [b:Die for Me|9462812|Die for Me (Revenants, #1)|Amy Plum|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1305753600s/9462812.jpg|10280032] did it better. Honestly, I didn't care much for the Revenants in The Hidden.

But one thing I WILL give credit to are all the romantic scenes between Abbey/Caspian. I think it's obvious to fans of the trilogy that they've been waiting for Caspian's death day for some time now and lemme tell you, the action that happens on that day, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!

So, all in all, I'm still confused but it was a somewhat satisfying ending so I don't regret following this trilogy. :)

With the creepy Victor after her and the Revenants slipping in and out of her life, Abbey doesn't know where to turn. Especially with her dark fate revealed. She can only look forward to Caspian's death day, November 1st and their one chance to be together. If you love The Hollow and The Haunted, you'll definitely want to keep reading. I immediately picked up this third book desperate to find out what happened.

Bottom-line: Great series. Paranormal and Urban Fantasy lovers will definitely enjoy.

I can't belove what Abbey did,, the way she switched the cards Nd now she's dead and Kristen's Alive. Just wow. I think it's amazing how Kristen was finally ale to be with Abel the Ning was awesome. And now Abbey and Caspian have Nick and Katy's house, and Nick and Katy became Revenants I love that.

These books could have been cute and really good, if it were for all the inconsistances and things left unexplained. I was being generous nd only gave them three stars because the storyline itself was good. The execution, however, was not.

Okay.. Better than first 2 because has a little bit of chaotic adventures and a little kidnapping.. And new friends.. and some slightly creepy scenes.. We love the whole shades turning to whatever.. And think it was so fucking sad her mom bought her the store and she went and died.. Or well they put the timeline right... Which is great because Kristen is back alive and with ben and they miss her, but she's with Caspian and its how its supposed to be. and I thinks she's happy. so all good.

I'm not sure I could say I really enjoyed this book. I read it mostly because of the cliffhanger the previous one ended on and I wanted answers.

Unfortunately from the start it seemed to be slow moving and while there were answers, during the progression of the books, I felt like some characters were underdeveloped and though there was a build up to the climax of the book, most of it wasn't particularly intriguing.

That said, it wasn't like I hated it, I just thought for a finale to a series there should have been MORE too it. I was expecting more to come about and it didn't really so even though you're not left wondering with the conclusion, I didn't feel entirely satisfied.

im gonna say 4.5/5. it was a great book plot-wise, albeit a little confusing on the fantasy part. this series was the slowest ass burn i have ever encountered. three entire books for the characters’ second kiss omg. i did get invested though so it was worth it.
