I was skeptical about the beginning because I HATED the emails, but it turned around once those stopped. Didn't love how annoying Penny was, but whatever

What a quick, fun read. Pushed together into an arranged marriage by their fathers as part of a business merger, Penny and Wes have one year to either get married or find a loophole in the contract. When no loophole appears, it seems as though the wedding will have to go ahead and so Penny relocates to Denver as the nuptials draw near. Despite being ridiculously gorgeous and being pushed up against Wes in his boxer shorts, which was just ....wow.... Penny knows that she is not Wes's type. But the universe has a way of getting rid of all those preconceived ideas you may have. Loved the chemistry between Wes and Penny.

What a cute, light hearted romance to get me in the Christmas mood! It was super sweet and definitely kept me entertained. You gotta love a fake marriage / engagement story!

Short review for short stories: Loved it. Again read the premise before you pick it up and ask yourself if you can accept it at face value even though it's impossible

As far as Christmas novellas go, this was pretty enjoyable. It was cute and sexy. I loved the humor and the [email] banters between Penny and Wes.

This is quite insta-love since there's not a lot of scenes where they spend time to get to know each other, but they have been engaged for a year -- a long-distance engagement.

I wish there were a lot more scenes that showed their chemistry and show how they live together while being engaged.

Nonetheless, it's a good holiday novella. If you're looking for a quick and light read, definitely pick this up.

Nice light funny story to pass the time after some heavy reads, it made me lol at Bad Penny. After smelling Wes' coat and thinking she might have just ovulated.
And the whole fertile/futile conversation- hysterical.

There were some plot holes, like what woman waits until the very last day to figure out her wedding??
But overall a nice fun read with well written steamy scenes. I like Penny and Wes.

The story didn’t make sense at all. But I’m in a Christmas mood and it was very short.

When the book started I really thought this was going to be the first Julie Kriss book that I didn't enjoy. Whilst I loved the email communication aspect, the entire set up felt a little cheesy and full of every cringeworthy cliche going. However the moment we got to actually "meet" Penny and Wesley I was totally hooked.

My Fake Christmas Fiancé is a fun, slow-burn but still incredibly steamy, heart warming romance. I adored both main characters and watching them fall in love was, quite simply, utterly joyful. This is yet again another winning book, I adore the author's writing and hugely recommend this book, both to get you in the christmas spirit and because it is just so darn good!
